About Us

Curtain Call Players is proud to be celebrating 40 YEARS of Community Theatre.

A series of events and shows will be posted on the site in coming months for past and present members to join the celebrations this year! Please check back for details or sign up for our mailing list to receive updates. Visit the Contact Us page to join our contacts. Hope to see you there!  We are proud of what we have achieved and excited for what’s to come! We remain dedicated to providing a creative outlet for members while presenting quality, affordable theatre for our community.

Our thanks go out to all who attended the townhall meeting. It was inspiring to see so many familiar faces that still cherish the time they spent with CCP and understand the importance of a group like this existing for future generations. Your opinions and perspectives were helpful for us to see and will go far in helping us as we move forward to #SaveCCP this coming season. We took on five new executive members following this meeting and formed several new committees to help focus on the key concerns and feedback you brought forward. We hear you and we will do our best to keep you better informed and part of the process when we are tackling difficult issues that effect the group as a whole. – Curtain Call Players’ Executive

Mission Statement

Curtain Call Players is a non-profit community theatre group, aiming to provide low cost, quality entertainment and make arts and culture accessible to all members of the community.

What We Do

Curtain Call Players (CCP) is a nonprofit musical theatre troupe performing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

We have been around now for forty years and boast an on and off-stage membership of 100 strong. We are currently performing two full-scale, musical productions a year.

Our audience members are drawn from all over Metropolitan Toronto and outlying areas. With each show, new talent joins the group, allowing CCP to meet the varying demands of every new show we take on. Recently, we have performed “The Wedding Singer“, “Sister Act“, “West Side Story”, “Young Frankenstein,” “The Rocky Horror Show”, “Miss Saigon”,  & “Hairspray”
